Andy, looking forward to the reworking of MyStatusTool. I need to get back in the saddle as well. I'm going to add enclosure support and work out auto-deletion of old files when the corresponding message drops off.
Almost. He mentions that it should be to "start a record" and "go back through the chain of thought", also "long-lived special-purpose communication apps". MST is semi-ephemeral so doesn't entirely qualify.
I've been thinking to myself that I need to get back to this as well. I still haven't added enclosure support, must get round to that soon.
Agreed. Radio 3 definitely doesn't seem to be sending pings. I don't get any here or to /reader.
I found the problem: I wasn't accounting for things like apostrophes in feed names so it was breaking the link.
Receiving you loud and clear. But for some reason couldn't reply - a glitch preventing me using the reply arrow on the first item. Will investigate tomorrow.

Changes to subscribed items are now updated in items.csv and reflected in the timeline. See the changelog.
I've never received a ping from the WordPress blog either, I'm not sure it's sending the notifications.
Now spotted another issue where updates to posts aren't being fed through properly. 🙄
Spotted an issue with the subscription endpoint so will fix it later.
Done!
Just checking the feed is getting rebuilt correctly with the new cloud info.
Hope you had a nice time.
I'm going to switch to my rssCloud server now.
I'm thinking about moving this to my rssCloud server so you'll need to redo the subscription afterwards. But I'll let you know when I do.
More work happening on the rssCloud server and looking to implement full custom port support.
I'm still subscribed but not had a notification. I may try removing and resubbing.
OK, I've done that and uploaded a few more minor tweaks. Check the changelog for altered files.
It's far from ready for public consumption, there's plenty to do and to make it more stable and reliable but I've at least had a subscription work and a ping 👍
Woohoo! The rssCloud Server appears to be working.
Now I need to tidy it up, do docs, and create logging.
It looks to have started with the post at 02/21/2023 14:20:02 your time.
Can't see any reason for it. Double check /admin/feeds.csv to make sure you haven't got double entries. Also have a look at items.csv to see if the dupes are in there. Might be getting written twice somehow.
Hmm. I'm wondering of the double posts are because I'm doing some testing with my rssCloud server but it shouldn't impact this.
